Psalm 23

"...I shall not want".

Because the Good Shepherd protects and provides for us, we will never lack what we NEED versus what we want.
However, this doesn't mean there won't be times of drought, valleys and need. The rest of this Psalm shows us these things do happen. But David (the author of this Psalm) had confidence that God would always know what we need and when to provide it.


FACT:

Valley

- The lowest point on earth, on dry land is the shore of the Dead Sea in Jordan which is 418 m (1,371 ft) below sea level.
