Wow, my first breakfast post. Sitting here drinking my morning coffee, tv on in the background and I'm looking out my kitchen window, thanking God that I don't have school today. Lol. Already finished the days' work, and wondering what my next mission will be. Hmmm...
Funny catching up with various people over past weeks and hearing 'bout their earthquake experience. Experiences that were damn right scary at the time, now told as light hearted tales. Laughing, crying, reflecting. Memories of people loved, homes lost and lives changed. Note to self: these would make an awesome short stories book. Hmmm...
Lent has begun. And what divine timing is that? An earthquake recovery leading into Easter - universal symbol of Hope, Faith and Great Love through the death and resurrection of Christ. Trading fragility for strength, weariness for peace and brokeness for beauty. Can't wait for the special Easter services, if you haven't been to a Catholic service during Easter week, you should go. It is a profound experience. One I'm sure you will love and will strengthen your relationship with God. Hmmm...
Yesterday, I learnt about provocation and it's power. And I must say it was a lecture I was totally taken with. And not to mention I'm a bit of a bots at times (lol) and this topic intrigued me. I have to write an exerpt and basically I'm excited about what I come up with. Hehe. Here's hoping I don't bore people. Lets see 2000 words. Hmmm...
And that's me in a nutshell, (mmm... almond gold) oh stop it!... hehe. Everyone I know and love are safe and sound. A blessing. Although much has been lost, much also has been found.
God is Good and his love, eternal.

A quote from an email I got this week and a blessing for you:
"I pray that you're enjoying every day of your life. Shining Gods light where ever your feet tread. Be glad because you have life and rejoice in the storms because in tragedy God whispers revelation and encouragement. Your testimony is being layered and your blessings await to be unwrapped!".
