Moving forward!

What a funny week it has been. I have been getting a taste of what being a teacher in the NZ system is like. Frankly, it has only been two weeks on section and already I'm having second thoughts. Is this really what I wanna be doing? If I could just deliver lessons without all the paper work, I'd be happy! lol. But all the planning and evaluating is so truly annoying. lol.

Oh well, I guess its just something we all have to do right. If you're gonna do anything, do it well i say, otherwise don't do it at all! SO yeah just gutting it out! But in the meantime being a real emo about it. hahaha... sorry to all those who have had to put up with me these past few days. I've been like a total buzz killer! All I'm missing is the dark eyeliner, black nail polish, hair over my face and my funeral clothes on.

Wasn't sure how I got into this mood... blah blah blah. Tried analysing it today... but didn't come up with anything except that I really don't have anything to get all angus about. So just gonna blame it on the hormones for now. Blah blah blah. So enough about me...

On a high note however: spent last night hangin out with the lovely ladies inspiring my life at the mo! Totally felt blessed to be surrounded by such beautiful, strong and intelligent women. There was a moment in the night where I just quietly watched them happily chatting and singing. Noticing how they held themselves, how they interacted with everyone and hearing them laugh out loud. Each of them unique and complimentary. How wonderful is our God? So wonderful. I am grateful to God for letting me share in these women's lives and for them playing such a huge part in mine.

To my treehouse girls:

Lols: You have such a big heart and I am inspired by your giving nature. You are always so generous with your time and genuine care. You have taught me some valuable lessons about unconditional love. You are a woman of peace, charity and joy. Thank you for always taking me in - Farrington Ave will always hold a special place in my heart! As well as Beyonce. lol.

Haye: You have always blown me away with how gentleness can be so fierce. You are woman of strength!. You have taught me some valuable lessons about discipline girl. Thanks for always keeping me accountable, I know it's not always easy to keep me on the straight and narrow, but I do promise to be listening (...most of the time). Steak and Cheese always!

Jaye: You are a woman of integrity and creative flair! I am inspired by your way with words and insight. You have taught me some valuable lessons about true honesty and justice. We seem to have an uncanny way of seeing things in the same light - wadya mean interrogation unit... hahaha...The panel so rocks wit u girl! lol

Lay: You are a woman of perserverance and independence! I have seen you challenge great adversity and win. I am so inspired by your resilience girl and quiet will. You always bounce back, bigger and better than ever. Lol i crack up at our baby daddy moments and honestly, you and Lola so crack me up! A game of Squash anybody?

and last but by no means the least...

Keke: You are a woman of great faith and wisdom! Through everything, you have always inspired me to keep moving forward, even when facing and enduring judgement. In times when I felt so alone thinkin noone understood... you taught me some valuable lessons in courage and truth - no matter what, you continue to empower and encourage others. You are a tower of strength! Woop woop! Cos there's nothing wrong with sharing a little b n b with the world!

Ok, so a five minute blog just turned into an hour. I could honestly write more ... like an essay on how amazing each of the above women are - alot to say and not enough hours in the day. But anytime you guys need... I'll be there!

So I pray right now that God's endless blessings be on each of you - May all of your hearts desires be granted as you delight yourself in God!
