Oh me, oh my...

Oh me, oh my! I just clicked that my mid years are end of June not July! What was I thinking? So not lol right now. lol.
(Hence why they call it mid-years... duh!) Ok so have to revise my study plans - super seriously!

.... quick update..

Things are great with my boys and I spending lots of time doing random stuff and laughing about it!

Landed my first somersault! Was absolutely stoked, however, since then have not been able to do it again so I'm a bit disappointed but will keep perservering.

Have passed all my assessments and tests (so far) with nothing less than a B! Totally stoked with that. Although how I do in my midyears could change that. eeek!

Got to catch up with the famz (as I do) and it seems that most of them are super seriously contemplating moving to Auz. Which is awesome I know but kinda sad. However, holidays overseas... yes please! Which is great when family move cos you got free accommodation and babysitting when you go to visit them. lol. Yussssss!

Did the 40 hour famine and raised $89.00. lol. But since Sunday I have been eating every ten minutes. Kinda defeated the sentiment aye? And so not good for the waistline - but it might explain why I can't seem to land that somersault again. ba ha ha ha... oh well.

All in all life is good! I hopefully will concentrate on study over the next 3-4 weeks so you really shouldn't be seein me on here. But I guess if you do, it'll be a blessing!

Keep warm and dry out there people! Apparently snow is on its way. YAYAH!

FACTS:

Ancient Greek Gymnastics were first performed naked. The word "Gymnastics" is derived from the word 'Gymnos" meaning naked.

As part of Ancient Olympic Games - men vaulted over running bulls as an event.

Only female gymnasts use music while performing their routine.

Trampolining was only introduced to the Olympics Games in 2000 as an additional gymnastic sport.

The floor on which gymnasts do their routine is spring loaded.
The floor is made up of springs under wood and this is covered by about two inches of foam, rubber and carpet.
The spring loaded floor lanches the gymnasts into the air and softens their landings.
