John 10: 11 & 18
Jesus said: I am the good shepherd, who is willing to die for the sheep... Noone takes my life away from me. I give it up of my own free will. I have the right to give it up and I have the right to take it back. This is what my Father has commanded me to do.

John 12: 3
Mary then took half a litre of perfume made of pure nard, poured all of it on Jesus' feet, and wiped them with her hair. The sweet smell of the perfume filled the whole house.

Ephesians 2:10
God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus he has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do.
