Money

It really sucks not having money at the moment!

I guess you get a wee bit more creative with how to stretch out what you got, but I so wish I didn't have to try and work out how from week to week.

It's an interesting topic, Money - it is one of the leading reasons why marriages end, crime occurs and inequality still exists. Wanting more money becomes an ambition or leads to addiction. The idea of having lots of money sounds liberating if you think about it but like all things in vast amounts, great wealth also comes with responsibility (or does it?).

And yes... I hear the mo money mo problems line and money is the root of all evil ... but i guess it doesn't have to be.
Money can bless and it can be used to further God's kingdom here on earth.

At the end of the day money is just an object, it doesn't have feelings and it doesn't make decisions. It doesn't tell you to gamble your whole life savings for that big win nor does it throw itself into the offering every Sunday.

It is the motives of man (and woman) that are corrupt and that's where the "problems" start, with bad decisions.

So yes, re-reading all the above now ... responsibility starts with self.

I am in debt and it always following me around like a dark cloud. At the mo I'm not doing anything to fix it except hoping the big fix (that's due anytime now) will put all things right. lol. But what lesson is there in that. If we are not faithful with the small things, how can God entrust us with the big things.

Hmm... ok so I just gave myself a lecture.

One dollar here, ten dollars there... it all adds up... it could've paid that bill or gotten you just that much closer to liberation from debt.

Got my budget drawn up and a seven week plan to be on top of it all! Here goes...
